But it doesn’t need to be hard. Trivia Party's guidebook, How to Host a Trivia Party, helps you work through the preparations with confidence and ease.

This guide helps you to plan, organize and carry out a first-class, fun-filled trivia event. Starting up to 10 weeks prior to the party (but that isn’t required), the book walks you through the process of planning and organizing your event, raising and answering questions such as:

• whether your host and quizmaster should be the same person;
• why you need poster board;
• why you should have sponsors, and how to attract them;
• the pros and cons of making up your own questions;

The success of any Trivia Party may depend upon the questions you use. Your questions need to be balanced and fair, covering the wide range of topics in which your guests will be interested. Otherwise, your guests may be frustrated.

We offer question packages from our vast database of quiz questions, designed specifically for Trivia Party games of the type described in our E-book, How to Host a Trivia Party. But our trivia questions are also suitable for trivia quizzes of any format, whether formal or informal.

Our standard question packages are compiled from questions drawn from 23 different categories. They come in packages of 60 questions (five rounds of 12 questions each), for $19.95, or 90 questions (6 rounds of 15 questions each), for $24.95. Each question package also comes with a few free bonus questions, to be used to break ties at the end of the game, or to replace questions your quizmaster may consider inappropriate for your locality or setting.
 

Our standard question packages also include, free of charge, professional answer sheets for each round of your game, quizmaster assistance, and certificates for your winning team members. Choose from several professional designs. Then, all you'll have to do is fill the winning team’s name and their individual members into the blank spaces of these certificates.

We now also offer you the option of customizing your trivia order to include questions of local interest. Our staff will research questions related to your locality, and simply add them to your order. The price for this service is $5 per set of 5 questions. Your order may include up to two such sets with the basic 60-question package, or three sets with the basic 90-question package. Allow 49 hours for delivery when this option is included.

Coaching

Our coaching programs help you increase your chances of a highly successful event. You will find them especially useful if you are planning your very first Trivia Party.
Our coaching programs come in two options:

1. Our Bronze Coaching program includes a weekly telephone consultation of up to 30 minutes, for up to 10 weeks in advance of your event, plus an extra consultation in the final week. During this time you are also provided with unlimited email support. Long-distance telephone charges are included in the price of $495 for the Bronze program.

2. Our Gold Coaching program includes all the ingredients of our bronze program, plus onsite supervision for up to 24 hours in advance of your event. The coach will monitor and assist all set-up for the event, trouble-shoot any problems in the process and, at your option, act as quizmaster (but not host) for your party. The price for the Gold coaching program is $895, plus travel (usually by air) and accommodation (mid-range hotel).
